Im gonna work for this new website for this few weeks or months. Yea, i need to focus built on it first. After everything settled back, here i am again. I have a friend that asking me How to download the videos at the Media Prima Website. For you information, Media Prima is including 4 big television station that is 8tv, Tv3, Ntv7 and the latest one TV9. There’s many interesting tv series in those channel. But not all people have time to sit infront of the TV to watching it. Media Prima has introduce something new to Malaysia, which is online streamying Television Series. So, here is an easy tutorial on How to download the Televison Series from Tv3, 8tv, Ntv7 and TV9.

First, access to any one of those Media Prima channel website. You can access the site from this following url:

1. TV3 - http://tv3.com.my
2. NTV7 - http://ntv7.com.my
3. 8TV - http://8tv.com.my
4. TV9 -  http://tv9.com.my

In this tutorial, im choosing to download tv series from the 8TV. Go to the website. At the top bar Navigation, you can see the Catch Up Tv button. Click it and choose which Television Series you want to download.

For example here, i want to download the GuaMuzik Supergig 2008. Click on it and you will be forwarded to the page to watch it. Now, stop the button first.

Select the embed code for the video. Copy it, open your notepad and paste it on the notepad. Then, you will something like the above codes:

Notice the red in colour code? That’s the URL for the video. To download the video, just copy and paste the URL to your browser. Then, Firefox will do it all for you. You also can use your download manager for this.

You need to download all the 4 part of the video to watch the full series. To watch the video on your computer, you need to have a FLV Video Player. I recommend you to download the GOM Player since it support various type of file.

Or you also can choose to convert the videos into various media file such as 3gp melayu sensasi mysabul2u, avi, mp4 or anything else. But yeah, you need to have the converter first. Dont be lazy, google for it.

You also can convert the video online using Vixy.Net. But the website is kinda slow.

You also should remember that only the media content is fully owned and copyrighted by Media Prima Production. So, now you can download your favourite TV series anytime you want and watch it using your handphone, iphone, mp4, psp or anything that support video file. Ohyea, that’s so geeky!

Oke, you tired with Friendster Hide Codes Layout and think it lame? Well, why not switch into Friendster Javascript Layout aka Friendster JS LAyout. Well, javascript has been known as one of the powerful code language in this world web wide. Apart from injecting external css file to Friendster, you could also injected a javascript file in it. So, today let try to make your own One Column Friendster layout with this Friendster JS Trick.

Now, in Friendster CSS Hide codes you only can hide the boxes right? But, with js you can manipulate the location of the box because js language can change the position of a Div tag. So, if you want to create a single column friendster layout with featured friends, group and friends underneath the comment box, you can apply this One Colum Friendster Layout script. Pretty easy. Copy all the codes and paste it in your notepad. You can follow this tutorial anyway: Create Friendster Hide CSS File. Just make sure to change it with .js extension not .css extension. Name it with anything and put .js at the back. Eg: Onecolumnfs.js.

Then generate the file with CSS & JS Linker generator. Click here for the generator. To access it, just use this:

Select the Javascript Link generator, not the CSS Link Generator. Just select any from 1 to 10. All of it works. Well, kudos to Angell Deville for making the linker generator. OR, if you don’t want to copy and paste those js code, i have make my own:

Just generate it with the CSS & JS Linker. Then, paste it into your Media Box.

I have found out that Friendster Blog doesnt allowed their user to embed a video or any javascript file to their Blog Content Manangment System. But hey, cheat to win. Several Friendster Blog user has found out a simple hack on Friendster Blog to embed Youtube Video or any video website. It is just so simple and i think this may also can be applied in other blog CMS. Perhaps so. I dont think that Friendster will patch this hole.

Well, here how it work. First, go to Youtube and get the embed code for your Youtube Video. Just copy the copy at the embed code boxes and we are ready to paste the code to your Friendster blog.

Then, go to your Friendster blog homepage. If you still didnt create your friendster blog, i suggest you to read this tutorial on “How to make a Friendster Blog” first. Where is your Friendster blog Homepage? At home, click at the dropdown menu and select update blog. Then, create a new post.

To insert youtube video to your post, click at the mailto picture. The button with a letters icon.

After you have click that button, a new pop-up will appeared. Now, paste the code that you have copied from Youtube. Paste and hit the ok button.

Then, you can hit the save button or preview first your entry.  Then you will get something like this:

Click update blog to start setup your Friendster Blog

After that, select the Friendster Blogs Free (Ad-Supported) option if you didn’t afford for the paid one. Well, everyone love freebies right? Haha. After that, here is the most challenging part. Choose the name for your blog. You should always remember that you CANNOT change your Friendster blog address anymore after this. So, make sure you has choose the best one for your Blog URL.  Then, select agree to the Terms and Service and proceed to the next step.

After that, you will be prompt to enter your Friendster Blog Title and select the layout and theme for your Friendster Blog. The design will be able to be change to better one using CSS soon.
